Join us for a three-day getaway to Black Mountain, Biltmore Estate® and the French Broad Chocolate Factory. The itinerary includes a leisurely afternoon exploring the charm of Black Mountain, a full day at the Biltmore Estate® culminating in the enchanting Biltmore Estate® Candlelight Christmas Evenings—where the estate glows with candlelight and festive décor—and concludes with an engaging visit to the French Broad Chocolate Factory, featuring a guided tour, chocolate tasting, and insights into the craft’s history.

Black Mountain, where lunch is on your own, is a picturesque town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains just east of Asheville. Known for its vibrant arts community, historic downtown, and welcoming small-town atmosphere, it offers a blend of cultural charm and natural beauty. The area features locally owned shops, galleries, and restaurants.

We will conclude the day with dinner and a show before relaxing at our hotel.

A day at Biltmore Estate® offers an exceptional blend of history, elegance, and immersive experiences, where we will explore the grandeur of America’s largest privately-owned home and stroll through meticulously maintained gardens.

Lunch is on your own in Antler Village, which offers a charming mix of shops, dining, a winery, and outdoor activities.

Enjoy dinner at The Stable Café which serves classic American comfort food in a unique setting that was once the estate’s historic horse stables.

As evening approaches, the estate transforms during its renowned Candlelight Christmas Evenings, where the mansion is illuminated by candlelight and adorned with festive décor. This enchanting experience is complemented by live music and a warm, inviting atmosphere, creating a memorable and refined conclusion to the day.

Partake of a full breakfast at the hotel before loading the motorcoach.

A visit to the French Broad Chocolate Factory offers an engaging look into the craft of bean-to-bar chocolate making, where guests can observe production, learn about ethical sourcing, and enjoy thoughtfully prepared tastings.

We will conclude our trip and head home, enriched with lasting memories and meaningful experiences from our time away.
